What is the trend in jewelry in 2026?
Vibrant Gemstones & "Dopamine" Colors:
Colored stones like sapphires, amethysts, and rare garnets are trending, alongside playful, colorful beads that evoke nostalgia.
Statement Earrings & Sculptural Pieces:
Oversized, organic-shaped earrings that are lightweight, along with large cuff bracelets and pendants, are set to dominate.
Bezel Settings:
A shift toward cleaner, modern aesthetics means stones—especially diamonds—are protected in smooth, bezel settings.
Personal & Symbolic Jewelry:
Birthstones, zodiac signs, and charms that tell a personal story are heavily featured, highlighting a trend toward, meaningful, intentional purchases.
Sustainable & Vintage:
Demand for eco-conscious, ethically sourced materials and vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces are growing, signaling a move away from, fast-fashion, jewelry.
Modern Pearls:
Freshwater pearls with unique shapes or mixed with chains are popular, updating the traditional look.

MEET KARIN
Like all rewarding journeys, Karin Jamieson’s path to becoming an award-winning jewelry designer has included a detour or two.
After successful post-collegiate turns as a travel agent, and then as a financial advisor for a major investment firm, Karin decided to pursue her life-long interest in gemstones and enrolled in a course at the Gemological Institute of America.
Her passion and talent for working with rare stones was obvious, and she soon received an offer from Tiffany & Co. to take a position in sales and earn her GIA Graduate Gemologist®️ Certification.
Graduate Gemologist® Program (gia.edu). It was here that Karin began to build a roster of private clients for her own designs.
